Purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how Fanaar collects, uses, and protects personal data gathered through our website and through enquiries made by prospective clients, referral partners, and other visitors. Fanaar takes privacy seriously — both because it is good practice, and because we ask our own clients to trust us with commercially sensitive information.

Scope

This policy applies to personal data collected via www.fanaarltd.com (enquiry forms, newsletter sign-ups, cookies and analytics — see our Cookie Policy) and through direct correspondence such as email or WhatsApp before a formal engagement begins. It does not cover personal data Fanaar processes on a client's behalf once a Master Services Agreement is signed — that processing is addressed in our Data Protection Policy and the relevant client agreement.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including restricted internal access, secure storage, and the security practices described in our Data Protection Policy — to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who support our operations (for example, email, hosting, CRM, and analytics providers), bound by confidentiality obligations, and only to the extent needed to provide their service to us. We may also disclose personal data where required by Pakistani law or a valid legal process.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry and prospect data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and pursue a potential engagement, and thereafter for a limited period for legitimate business record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and we have no overriding legal reason to retain it.

You may ask us, at any time, to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, or to delete it. Send such a request to the contact details below and we will respond within thirty (30) calendar days.

Regulatory context

Pakistan does not yet have a single, comprehensive data protection statute in force. Fanaar nonetheless applies the standards in this policy voluntarily, informed by international best practice, and will update this policy to reflect any Pakistani data protection legislation that comes into force.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.
